Travellers travel to meet new people, eat new food, see new places, or to walk a few steps in another man’s shoes. Travellers also love to record and cherish new memories.
They also always look forward to visiting newer places and making newer unforgettable memories. The world is a big place and there are lots of places to visit. One lifetime isn’t enough to explore.
However difficult it may be for these beautiful memories (soft copy) to be erased; it feels good, actually great to keep a hard copy of these memories.
Bob Dylan truly told, “Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them”
Let’s explore the various ways in which these memories may be immortalized:
# How about a colourful fridge door with magnets from all the places you visited.
# Click bountiful of pics and store them in Facebook or Instagram for a quick access. Also make copies of them and create a collage/album, to be able to flip through them in your leisure moments. We do this, anyways.
# Buy tickets on flights to Los Angeles (or elsewhere). Do crazy stuff such as jumping in the middle of the road, singing at the top of your voice at the marketplace, get your face painted. Only take care it doesn’t harm anyone. People donot mind a little humour.
# Get a tiny tattoo done if you’re a tattoo lover; after alighting from flights to Johannesburg(say).
# An off-track option is to buy tiny pieces of clothes, distinct to these places and collage them for an instant hit with friends.
# You can also buy clothes from places in which they specialize. So whenever you wear that cloth, you are reminded of the place.
# Spice it up. Buy spices from places that boast of a certain spice to spice up your memories and your palette as well. It will change the ordinary to an extraordinary (food & day as well).
# Exhibiting tiny curios, engraved country key-chains from all the places, in your living room; though a cliché option is worthwhile. Buying souvenirs and mementos is quite necessary.
# There are certain smells which brings back memories of certain places we visited. So it’s an excellent idea to buy spices, perfumes, preservatives, dried-up flowers, candles, incense and other objects; which when we sniff, brings the memories flooding back.
# Collecting stamps and coins and journaling them is an interesting way to know the culture and history of the places you’ve seen.
# Journal about the places you visit. You may blog or vlog about them as well. For example, book cheap flights to Atlanta for adding magic to your blogging.
# Record videos of the general happenings of a place to capture the music, the culture, the mood, the beat, the beauty… of that place forever.
# You may customize pillows/quilts, mobile covers, with the pics/names of the places you have toured.
# I have seen someone bottled up sand from different places. It was a sight indeed with different colours and textures.
# Get maps of the place you have seen and paste them to your bag for your pride and viewer’s envy.
Flip through the albums of pics, coins and stamps, watch the videos, sniff the incense, wear the silk blouse you bought from India, and get transported to your wonderful memories.Endless options are there to immortalise your wandering memories.
Travel-mongers love to flaunt, cherish and tell stories of the places they have visited, be it Antigua or Adelaide. Book flights to San Diego from UK or elsewhereto make such memories.
Only take care that you book flights from a reliable travel agent as White Magic Travels for taking you to your dream places and creating memories.
Happy reminiscing.
